Year 12/Sixth Form Entry Exams Courses
Most schools require applicants to take an entrance exam (usually sat in November) the year before the intended start date. The entrance exams are on subjects which applicants intend to study at A-levels. The content of these examinations are usually based on questions from GCSE past papers. For highly selective schools, passing these subject tests would mean the applicants will be given a conditional offer based on achieving a certain number of 9/8/7 (A*-A) in their final GCSE/IGCSE in order to confirm their place. CANA tutors familiar with the UK National Curriculum will be able to fill the knowledge gap and bring up the expected standard for any students who are not currently following UK syllabus.
